A master builder and trusted leader across both the Residential and Higher Education sectors, David has built lasting partnerships with clients, architects, and artisans for more than 30 years. His career includes the successful delivery of technically demanding commercial spaces—like university stadiums, control centers, and art museums—as well as some of the most design-forward custom homes in Texas. From architecturally significant residences in Lake Austin and the Hill Country to collaborations with acclaimed designers and craftspeople, David’s leadership bridges precision engineering and personal vision, making him instrumental in Signature Homes’ execution of truly one-of-a-kind properties.
Walt Ferguson
Managing Director
With nearly two decades of experience in real estate and construction, Walt has successfully managed a wide range of high-profile projects for White Construction. A proud native of Austin and a graduate of the University of Texas, Walt brings a client-first approach and unwavering attention to detail to every project.
As Managing Director of Signature Homes by White Construction, he co-leads the firm’s ultra-high-end, custom single-family home division. From brand development to team leadership, Walt ensures that each project meets the highest standards of quality, is delivered on time, and stays within budget.
Krysta Stauch
Director of Client Solutions
Krysta Stauch blends creativity, communication, and a deep understanding of the construction industry in her role as Director of Client Solutions. She serves as a dedicated advocate for clients throughout their Signature Homes journey, ensuring that every detail aligns with their vision. While focused on luxury residential experiences, Krysta also supports client relationships across White Construction’s commercial portfolio, offering perspective that bridges markets and enhances service. Known for her energy, professionalism, and authenticity, Krysta helps foster the trust and connection that defines the White Construction experience.
Matt Pickens
Executive Vice President
Matt Pickens brings nearly 25 years of construction experience to White Construction. A builder at heart, Matt focuses on the quality that arises from integrating plans, people, and processes to meet client needs during the preconstruction phase. From relationship management to project buyout and procurement, Matt works tirelessly to support project teams while promoting the motto “Building Success Together.”
Matt’s journey in construction began early in life; his father and grandfather were in the industry. While completing his bachelor’s degree in construction science at Texas A&M University, he worked summers as a laborer pouring concrete and eventually advanced to the role of field engineer.
In the early stages of his career, Matt gained valuable experience as a Project Manager and Superintendent, which gave him insight into the processes necessary for successful project execution, including budgeting, scheduling, sequencing, and logistics. As his career progressed, he took on corporate roles that involved leading preconstruction, managing project operations, handling staffing assignments, and setting strategic goals. His construction management portfolio encompasses higher education, K-12, healthcare, corrections, retail, and projects, along with additional experience in corporate and hospitality sectors.
Outside of work, Matt is devoted to his family and the people around him, striving to ensure that everyone lives each day to the fullest. He is also committed to community service, volunteering for his church, serving on the local school board, acting as Chapter Manager for Sleep in Heavenly Peace, and supporting the Ronald McDonald House of Central Texas.
Rick Andrews
Vice President, Estimating
From childhood, Rick Andrews wanted to be part of the construction industry. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering Construction Management from The University of Texas at Austin and entered project management. Drawn to the preconstruction process, he became a full-time estimator thirteen years later, in 1999. Rick joined White Construction in 2012 as a Senior Estimator and has moved through the ranks to Director of Estimating.
Focusing careful attention to every detail, Rick creates project budgets that are accurate, easy to understand, and offer reliable guidance through the preconstruction process. Rick enjoys “building” a project in his mind and refining it as preconstruction services progress, then ultimately seeing the structure come out of the ground to take form as he imagined.
Neel White
Chairman
Neel White founded White Construction’s Austin office and has been a cornerstone of the company’s growth since 1981. His leadership helped establish the firm as a trusted name in both residential and commercial construction across Texas and beyond. With a career built on integrity, community, and relationships, Neel’s influence can be seen in landmark commercial projects for clients such as Dell, Whole Foods, and the U.S. General Services Administration—as well as in the thoughtful approach Signature Homes by White Construction takes to luxury residential construction. His commitment to quality and collaboration continues to shape the culture and vision of the firm today.
Guy White
Chief Executive Officer
Guy White began his career with White Construction over 35 years ago as a field engineer and rose through the ranks to become CEO. His leadership is rooted deeply in operational knowledge and a passion for building enduring relationships. Guy has overseen a diverse portfolio of work, from corporate offices and university buildings to private residences and high-end retail spaces. His ability to balance large-scale commercial development with the intimate, personal nature of custom homebuilding makes him a key figure in delivering signature homes that are as functional as they are timeless.
Rob Baugher, LEED AP®
President & Chief Operating Officer
Rob Baugher brings nearly 25 years of experience at White Construction and has helped shape the firm’s reputation for integrity, precision, and excellence. Rob has managed a wide array of project types—from large-scale mixed-use developments and senior living communities to some of Central Texas’s most sophisticated residential estates. His high-end residential work includes standout projects in Rollingwood, Spicewood, and along Lake Austin. A seasoned builder and operations leader, Rob ensures Signature Homes’ clients benefit from the same strategic planning, craftsmanship, and care that defines all White Construction projects.
